Thanks for the question. When traveling, shoes can be a hassle. They tend to take up room in the suitcase so I always recommend bringing one dress shoe that is versatile enough to be dressed up or warn casually. A good loafer or driving moccasin is my shoe of choice but you can always go with a lace up if you don’t expect to be hoofing it in search of nightlife.
